Windows 11 / 10 पर VLC इंस्टॉल करें (Step by Step)

Step 1 — Download the official installer

1. जाएँ videolan.org/vlc — download button पर "Download VLC" लिखा होता है और current version (3.0.23) दिखता है।

   Official installer डाउनलोड हो जाता है।

2. लगभग सभी आधुनिक PCs के लिए "Windows 64bit" चुनें। "Windows ARM64" का उपयोग केवल Snapdragon/ARM Windows devices पर करें।

   सही architecture चुनी जाती है।

3. Third-party "VLC download" sites को नज़रअंदाज करें — केवल official mirrors। Installer ~42 MB का है।

   आपके पास एक genuine installer है।

Step 2 — Run the installer and handle SmartScreen

1. डाउनलोड किए गए vlc-3.0.23-win64.exe पर double-click करें।

   Installer शुरू हो जाता है।

2. यदि Windows SmartScreen "Windows protected your PC" दिखाता है, तो "More info" > "Run anyway" पर click करें — file VideoLAN द्वारा signed है।

   Installer आगे बढ़ता है।

3. Wizard में Next पर click करते जाएँ। Default options ठीक हैं; "Create a shortcut" और file associations वैसे ही रह सकते हैं।

   Installation पूरी हो जाती है।

Step 3 — First launch and verification

1. Start menu से VLC लॉन्च करें।

   VLC orange cone splash के साथ खुलता है।

2. Help > About VLC पर जाएँ — confirm करें कि version 3.0.23 से मेल खाता है।

   Version verify हो जाता है।

3. एक test file play करें; sound icon और volume slider check करें।

   Playback काम करता है।

• 32-bit या 64-bit? — सभी modern PCs के लिए 64-bit; 32-bit installers केवल बहुत पुराने systems के लिए चाहिए।
• Kya Microsoft Store version वही है? — यह एक sandboxed build है; desktop installer classic, full version है।
