VLC के साथ अपनी Screen कैसे Record करें (Full Screen या Region)
VLC में एक पूरा screen-capture engine included है — कोई extra software ज़रूरी नहीं। यह आपके desktop, किसी विशेष window, या किसी region को record करता है, microphone या system से audio के साथ। Catch यह है: options Convert/Save dialog में छिपे हुए हैं। यह गाइड बिल्कुल दिखाता है कि वे कहाँ हैं और कौन सी settings smooth, non-jumpy recording देती हैं।
Step 1 — Open the capture device dialog
Media > Convert / Save (Ctrl+R) पर जाएँ, फिर "Capture Device" tab खोलें।
Capture options दिखने लगते हैं।
"Capture mode" को Desktop पर set करें।
Screen capture select हो जाता है।
Optional: frame rate को 30 (PAL regions में 25) पर set करें — higher rates CPU waste करते हैं और tutorials को शायद ही improve करते हैं।
Frame rate set हो जाता है।
Step 2 — Record a window or a region instead of the full screen
उसी dialog में, "Desktop" mode के लिए "Frame width/height" को उस window size पर set करें जिसे आप capture करना चाहते हैं, और "Left/Top" को उसकी screen position पर।
केवल वह region record होती है।
Target window को आपके द्वारा entered coordinates पर move करें — (0,0) पर एक maximized browser जिसकी capture 1920×1080 है, सबसे सरल setup है।
Region window से मेल खाती है।
Content से मेल करने के लिए "Screen capture framerate" set करें: normal UI के लिए 30, slideshows के लिए 15, केवल gameplay के लिए 60।
Capture rate set हो जाती है।
Step 3 — Add microphone audio
Capture Device tab में, microphone को audio device के रूप में select करें (Windows: Microphone Array / USB Mic; Linux: pulse device)।
Microphone capture enable हो जाता है।
अब नीचे "Convert / Save" (Play नहीं) पर click करें और "Video - H.264 + MP3 (MP4)" चुनें।
Output profile set हो जाता है।
एक destination file चुनें और Start पर click करें।
Recording तुरंत शुरू हो जाती है।
VLC में square Stop button के साथ रोकें — file stop पर finalize हो जाती है।
एक playable MP4 save हो जाती है।
Step 4 — Fix a jumpy or laggy recording
- Presentations जैसे static content के लिए frame rate को 15–20 fps तक कम करें।
- Capture region को reduce करें — full-4K screen capture 60 fps पर अधिकांश machines पर VLC के software encoder से परे है।
- ऐसे hardware-accelerated apps (games, video वाले browsers) को बंद करें जो encoder के साथ CPU के लिए लड़ते हैं।
- Serious capture के लिए, OBS Studio use करें — VLC की capture एक convenience feature है, कोई production tool नहीं।
